Is that the Fern ?

Its a cheat blip today as these little devils have been growing in my garden for several years. They are particularly attractive when they are unfurling like this.

Amazing to think that ferns have been growing on this planet for more than 365 million years.

Whenever I say the word fern I always think of Peter Sellers in the Pink Panther films !
