Planet Light

Another damp and dismal day saw me digging out the finger lights and black backdrop for some light painting practise. I used one of my late Mum's glass paperweights as the subject.

My original objective was to simulate a firework burst (since there was no way I was going out in this weather to find a display!), but after numerous shots it was clear this wasn't going to happen, so instead I just looked for some interesting light and form, of which this seemed to fit the bill.
