Early Evening

Visited my Mother in the morning; she is very perky at the moment.  Alan came round in the afternoon (we poured a bucket of ice-cold water over him).  We retired to the Bothy to plan our field trip to Speyside later this month.  It would have been ignorant not to have sampled the products before departure.  In a shock that upset the form book an outsider (Hazelburn 10 yr old) was the favourite of the day.
 
Desmond is mortified; Blanche has been nominated for Pipe Smoker of the Year.
