Gnocchi with figs, dolcelatte, and hazelnuts

Today I had an opportunity to use the enormous Le Creuset dish that my middle sister found in a skip on Holy Island. I baked gnocchi with figs, dolcelatte, and hazelnuts for Mr hazelh, Jon, Paddy, and Caitlin for dinner this evening. My blip shows the dish just before it went into the oven. We had bruschetta for our first course, and Mr hazel baked an apple crumble for pudding using Emma's apples.

Between courses we played Azul, Catan, and Cockroach poker. I smashed a glass of fizz while playing Catan. I did the same on Friday evening. Oh dear...

Also today I brewed two vats of soup: (1) spiced parsnip: (2) sweet potato and squash.

No exercise today.
