Snow on maple leaves

And now it's suddenly winter. Not ready for such a quick transition in the season! It was so dark this morning when I took this.  It's SOOC. The snow stuck around until early afternoon, melted, then it started snowing again around 3:30. It's bloody cold!  There's another snowy photo in my other journal, both taken through the window. I did have to brave the cold to pick some carrots! 
Neighbour Bill got home from the hospital yesterday and has a few weeks of recovery ahead. We hope to have a visit sometime this week when he feels up to it. G talked with him this morning and he seems to be okay. It will be good to see him!
