The rather pretty little Chiffchaff seemed surprised to see me and didn't hang about for more time than it took me to snap this shot of him.

It's been a  breezy day with plenty of sunshine, occasionally interrupted by brief blustery downpours some of which were quite torrential. Its not been warm though, we are definitely back to November temperatures.

With the big "C" just over 6 weeks away I've now mixed up my gluten free Christmas puds, which I will cook tomorrow, all being well, its good to be ahead of the game for once.   :-)
