Goodbye Prague, Hello Paris

We left Prague in the rain on Saturday and said goodbye to my parents (whom we will see again in 2 and a half weeks!) and arrived in sunny Paris in the middle of the afternoon. We easily made our way to the Latin Quarter where we rented a small apartment for a few nights and made ourselves right at home. The apartment has a living room, separate bedroom, and separate kitchen, although the apartment is actually smaller than ours in Moûtiers. It's on the top story, like ours, and has a lovely view of the city skyline. Once we had settled ourselves and showered, we went for a walk around the neighborhood and down to Ile de la Cité to see La Notre Dame. Miraculously, it was open to the public as there was a free organ concert in the cathedral. We walked through, listening to the music, and I took this photo of a pillar, the ceiling, and a stained glass window. Thus began our three-day Paris tour before we go back to Moûtiers and the mountains.
