Orange tip, in the sun

Today's blip is a male Orange tip butterfly,
I love Orange tips, they are one of my favourite butterflies, I am not sure if it's the distinctive colouring, the way they fly along the hedgerows of Sussex stopping once in awhile to nectar on the foaming, frothing ladies smock, or the fact that they are one of the first British butterflies to hatch in the spring and fly in April and May my favourite months!
Whatever the reason I really love them, and really enjoyed this photo shoot with this beautiful male.
