Jax loves sticks of any size, even those that are clearly too big for him. He loves chewing them, carefully spitting out the pieces. And he loves chasing them - in fact, you can see how’s he smiling here! (Okay, maybe not, but close enough.)

I ran out to get blood drawn in advance of seeing my oncologist next week. It has otherwise been a day mostly consumed with news of the elections. Not exactly the “red wave” some were expecting but not a solid endorsement of either party. We are a nation divided.

My niece is back at home now, after a night in the hospital. Her husband kept us updated during her surgery and let us know when the hospital released her to his care today. Relieved to have this first step over although I know she has a lot ahead of her still. Keep the good thoughts and prayers coming, if you would.
