Office away from home

I’m up reasonably early and don’t feel too bad. Sath is also awake and seemingly unaffected by the excesses of last night. Matt, on the other hand, is suffering.

Underground to Paddington. GWR to Newbury and Bedwyn. Lift back to the house from my mother. And then it’s meeting time - a full afternoon of presentations and demos (with the demo effect in full force)

We head to Swindon to meet up with Megan and have a curry. Megan’s on good form. The Jewel in the Crown has an interesting menu, but it’s deviation from standard British curry doesn’t impress my mother.

At Megan’s flat we exchange gifts. Volumes 3 & 4 off The Sandman for her, a knitted woollen hat for me. And home.
