Bumped

I waited all day for my surgery which should have been around 2.30pm. There had been a complication with the previous surgery and they cancelled mine at 3.30pm. They said I could go home and come back for the surgery next week. I couldn’t get into my clothes quick enough then they told me to get back on the bed as they had to take out the CVC line and I would have to lie still for 25minutes. By that time Hubby was there and we went home. We ordered a pizza for dinner and washed it down with a beer. The surgeon rang me to apologise and promised I would not be bumped off the list next week.
