Innards

During lockdown the most important piece of equipment in my kitchen wasn't the bread maker, or the dishwasher or even the kettle. It was - and still is - the toaster.

It's stopped working!  

As I have at least one meal consisting of toast most days this is way more catastrophic than it sounds.

Luckily I have one it's easy to get parts for and to repair.

Unluckily it's an older model than I thought and the spare part I've got is the wrong shape

Even more annoying is I didn't realise this until about an hour ago, long after the service line closed for the day so now I have to wait until Monday to re order the right part.

I'm not sure how I'm going to get through the weekend.
