Christmas-cake preparation

I know it's only mid-November ... but a decent Christmas-cake does need adequate time to mature and absorb any added alcohol ;-)

So, our cake is now duly made and is currently baking in the oven - main challenge will be trying to ensure it subsequently remains uneaten right through until Christmas Day!
