Sheep may fly

... before Baby Brother puts in an appearance! That said, we were all very pleased that he didn't arrive over the past couple of days, as no-one wants to be in hospital over a weekend. Tomorrow would be good. He'd then share his birthday with the King (Charles III's first as monarch)! Not sure when the baby reaches his Best Before date, but he's happily bouncing around "indoors" while his mum counts the hours. 

We spent the morning entertaining LMB to give her parents a rest. (She's still wide awake at five each morning.) We baked and decorated cupcakes (her favourite occupation at present). And we watched some Peppa Pig. At the beginning of one episode (that always begin the same), when Peppa announces "... and this is my little brother, George", the human Big-sister-in-waiting gave a huge, shuddering sigh. It needed no words to translate her longing to meet her baby brother. But he'll come when he's ready. And this mobile awaits his arrival, now repositioned above his cot. (Knitted back in the summer.)

Meanwhile, a thousand thanks for your enthusiasm for my yesterblip that put my steamy genie on the popular pages. I do appreciate it, as I was very pleased with it myself. You're very kind.
