Ingenious soup

Carrot, green pepper and coriander soup,
prepared in the usual way,
but from the bowl, in swirling steam
some magic seemed to stray:
a genie appeared and said he'd grant
whatever I wished -- "Just say!"
It's not come true yet, maybe because
it's Silly Sat-ur-day!

The steam looked as if it came from mushroom soup at one point -- or jellyfish soup?! (see my Extra)!

It was full steam ahead for Mr PP this afternoon as he mowed the grass, including the newly sprouted blades that are making a good start on greening over the bald patches.
