Remembrance Sunday

For some reason this did not load yesterday and appears as a backblip.

Whilst it was pleasing that the war memorial transferred from our old church had been, after some years' delay, mounted on the wall it was good to see it on this Remembrance Sunday with a wreath. There are three such memorial plaques now in church, each with their own wreath, representing the different congregations that united to form the present congregation.

It was such nice weather that we took a picnic down the east coast, ending in North Berwick's Tantallon Terrace car park. After a walk eastwards on the beach we walked up to the top of the cliff at Haugh Road and watched the sun go down, illuminating the Bass Rock, see extra photo.
