Bamburgh Castle

It’s been a long time since it’s rained so much whilst we’ve been away. It hasn’t stopped all day. Not having been before, we went to Bamburgh Castle for their “12 days of Christmas” displays that opened last Saturday.  We quite enjoyed the few hours we spent there, but felt that £15.50 was a bit over the top. It didn’t even include parking, which was an extra £4! 
Maybe had we been able to spend more time outdoors, we’d have thought it was better value. 
It did look particularly festive which was nice. (See extras). 
I couldn’t bring myself to start with the festive main blips so soon, so you have a wet cannon from our walk back to the car.
