Unsettled Wadder

Gales have been blowing all day, cloudy and mostly dry. Rain started this evening.

Another early shift in the airport today. I started on the check-in desk, and then moved to meeting and boarding flights. Back to the check-in desk in the afternoon. All flights in and out on time, if not early. Popped by Laura's on my way home. A quiet evening at home, and no weather for walkies. Early to bed again. Sadly a body of a missing woman washed ashore this afternoon, condolences to her family.

Gale force winds blowing all day, about a force 8-9, getting up to force 11 tonight. The gales are due to blow up to Friday, giving a break at the weekend, and then gales next week. It will be a long winter, if gales are the norm. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance for any wave photos, maybe tomorrow, or the next day and so on. The ferry south is under review, hopefully our flights should be OK, as long as it doesn't go over 70mph and crosswinds. A stormy view on my way home, looking over Northpunds, Levenwick.
