Pre-Prove

Thought I’d make something different on the bread front today and after a bit of a recipe trawl I settled on saffron rolls. At this pre-prove stage they seemed to be OK, coffee bean shape was the plan, but something went a tad wrong along the way because that shape disappeared slightly in the prove and then completely in the oven. The baked rolls are fine though, even if there’s a complete lack of any saffron taste! Might give them another go.
