The couple in the corner had nipped outside for a smoke; people-free tables are quite a common site in pubs these days.
Back in Bennet’s after dropping Jimmy off home, we’d only managed a single point at the tenpin but against the leading team in the league so I suppose that’s OK. It really should’ve been more though!
And it’s been wet all day, golfing plans abandoned.
