Umbrella liverwort in our garden

Backblipping.

Umbrella or common liverwort (Marchantia polymorpha) has a wide distribution and is found worldwide. During the time we have had the allotment garden, for 12 years, the occurence of the plant has clearly increased. The plant itself is quite ugly. The gametophores, umbrella-like reproductive structures of the plant are nice, but as so small they remain largely undetected. I detected the umbrellas just now after years by chance when uprooting the very small  weeds.
