During the interval

At the Caird Hall in Dundee this evening I had the pleasure of listening to the Dundee Symphony Orchestra (DSO) performing 4 works of “Music From the New World.”

The highlight for me was Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with Fali Pavri on the piano along with the clarinet and then full orchestra but I surprised myself by recognising much of Dvorak New World Symphony that they played after the interval.

A most enjoyable evening of culture for a change - I went with a friend and Mrs AMK stayed at home and watched Strictly !
