The recent storms forced a small crack on the popular revetment walk from Ventnor to Bonchurch into a huge hole (just visible in my poor photo largely owing to the barriers!!)
The work is being monitored and will take 2 years to repair. This is mainly owing to the sewer pipe that is under the revetment being severely compromised!
The sea is relentless!
