Magical

It was long after sundown when I went out, though no sun had been seen all day in any case. It had also been snowing continuously and the landscape was now shrouded in mist. No one about and no sound, save for my own breath.

I saw this group of trees at a distance and their twisted trunks highlighted with plastered snow had a touch of the magical about them. The brown leaves of a small hickory sapling provided a barest hint of colour in the rear.

The file was so flat I could have taken this image a number of ways, but chose to keep it close to the raw file. There was a hint of magenta which I kept as it adds to the atmosphere.
