A Cold Wind Blows

I think it will take a while for me to be come accustomed to winter this year. I seem to be less tolerant of cold now. Rarely have I taken so few frames as this.

The light drew me towards this spot, but it was the trees, in silhouette, which created such interesting shapes that made the shot for me. I took care to choose a shutter speed that rendered the dangly leaves of the willow and the reeds in relatively sharp focus. Their angle depicts their drift in the wind without resorting to motion blur.
