Nautilus

davidc's theme this week is ornaments/memorabilia.  While this is not particularly tiny on the tiny scale, it is small for a nautilus shell and was a gift from the ancient mariner from New Caledonia.  An ornament for sure and taken with the macro lens.  Thanks for hosting david.

Maggy and I visited the hospital today.   Quite a crop of new people which is a good thing as it generally means that patients have gone home.  Something most are itching to do.

And I forgot to mention yesterday that at the Nursing home we met a new resident.   His niece (with her 3 month old identical twins) was visiting him and told the story about how he had a pet sheep as a child.  I thought they may have lived on the land but no, it was in suburbia.  Anyhoo, one day the sheep ate a bar of soap and then apparently for the next week "farted" bubbles.  We all had a good laugh at that.
