The way up

Backblip 4

After a late start and leisurely breakfast, Lucy and I had a productive morning. When she left home, over 10 years ago, Lucy left several large boxes of 'stuff' with us, and we've stored it in some place or other ever since. Today we sorted through it, and put it into four piles - things to keep, items to go to charity, paper for recycling, and a very small amount of 'rubbish'. A job well done!

Later in the day we walked the Humbleton Round, not far but about right for a very grey, gloomy afternoon. Looking down from the track, we could see lots of water on the Glendale flood plain. No squirrels on the Common, but we did spot a roe deer.

Home to one of MrM's delicious curries, then a drink or two and a film. Perfect!
