Hips galore

A trip to the tip recycling centre with mrM this morning, with all the usual stuff for recycling plus the mattress from our bed. Way past its best and long overdue for replacement! Then a return trip with the mirror doors from the once-fitted wardrobe. The room looks very different now!

A couple of hours messing around in the 'yard this afternoon in unseasonably warm, but windy, weather. New liner in the hanging basket, and pansies planted in it. Pruned a couple of the rose bushes too, and brought in these hips.

Over the last week, for the first time in almost almost 7 years, a robin has been coming to the 'yard to feed. Lovely to watch him hopping around as I worked!
