World Cup EB

Stef and I were on opposing World Cup sides tonight...Asha made us flags.

A very productive morning. We had 200€ left from a fundraiser for Ukraine so went and spent that on thermal clothes which is what is currently being requested. The Ukrainian Church here are still sending weekly vans, and that's top of their list. Lovely lovely to meet Nate's nursery teacher in Decathlon, we've not seen her since pre Covid! We then headed to the English shop to collect food stuffs for the Christmas Day lunch we'll do. The shop have been amazing and ordered us industrial sized items and not charged anything on top of the wholesale price! They've saved us so much money, let alone the things they themselves have donated!
Home for Danny to go meet the shouting man from the other night and his social worker, and for me to sort bits and bobs and pick up a second hand coat I bought for Asha. It's a perfect fit so I'm really delighted!
Tonight's Caña Club was small and lovely...and we had the Australia vs France game on in the background.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Asha having a warm coat.
2) The generosity of Jillian at the English shop.
3) A guy from the ES church offering one of our homeless friends a few hours of work.
