Baking day

Having got Book Club out of the way yesterday, it was time to get busy in the kitchen, baking the Christmas cake, once again not quite as early as I intended, but better than some years! While it was cooking slowly in the afternoon, we both got out to Esporta for a swim. (42 lengths for me today)
Temperatures are much cooler this week, barely making it above freezing during the day
