"Remembering The Women Pioneers"...

....On Sunday next it shall be Mothers' Day in Australia, and I believe in USA as well, and let's stop awhile to remember the Women Pioneers, who, without them too, we wouldn't be here..

...The early women Settlers conditions were especially hard for women - wherever they were, the harsh climates, here especially, and the lack of facilities had to be endured..there was nowhere to keep meat, butter or milk.

...The only cooling system for many years was a hole in the ground covered with a wet bag, and the Women and Children worked very hard beside their men..

...And so, on Sunday, Mothers Day - let's think about the Pioneer Women who came before us, as well...
