Strandshag Bay.

A small bay within Derwentwater.  There is an island, swans there were three of them 'bottms-up' when I was there, and reed beds.  What attracts me (I've photographed this in different seasons) is the white house in the distance.  Many country house in the LD are white.  Behind the house is Walla Crag which provides a great back drop even though many trees have lost there leaves.
This is a photo taken the other day as this bay is to the left of Friar's Crag, another good view point.
A busy day starting with trying to order books for my Kindle and ended up cancelling the order.  A long story and a long time to sort out too.
The extra is Catbells and on to Maiden Moor
Thanks for comments on yesterday's photo.
