Life through the lens...

Christmas Fair.

I think the last time I went to Sainsbury’s in Brighouse was in summer and I unexpectedly found the town centre closed as there was a brass band competition taking place.
Today it was closed off because of the Christmas Market, and Fair as later this afternoon they will be turning on the Christmas lights.
There was a lovely warm friendly atmosphere.
I had a very quick look round as I only had half an hour left in the car park.
Nothing caught my eye. Unfortunately quite a lot of tatty stalls. However I bought a couple of books from the book shop. They sell 2 for £5. and had a couple I liked.

After the football last night I watched an excellent programme about Agatha Christie:
Lucy Worsley on the Mystery Queen.
I enjoy anything that historian Lucy Worsley does. She delves into her subjects and always finds out the little known facts, as well as making the programme interesting and amusing.
I certainly didn’t know anything about Agatha’s early life.
Needless to say football is on at the moment.
Hope England play better next time.
