November Rose
The meal last night was fun. And despite the schnitzels on the menu - I haven't eaten schnitzel in ages - I plumped for the vegan currywurst. I have a deal with myself, if currywurst is on the menu and I haven't tried it at the restaurant before, I have to try it.
It was fine - das Würstchen was ok texturally but didn't taste of much, the sauce had a hint of curry flavour but no real punch to it (pretty typical for here).
And today I'm cooking a vegan soup - onions, carrots, parsnips, potatoes brought together in veggie stock with some salt, pepper, chilli, and some spices. The plan is to puree all of that (I've grated all of them) and then to add chickpeas for a bit of a change of texture.
Warming, comforting and ideal for a grey & foggy day.
