Sally Mair - Loving life

Special visitor

Our Christmas Lights event and fair was today. Our little church has really become the centre of the community on this day of the year. There must have been the best part of a thousand people there over the course of the event. Blipper Flumgummery and MrF popped in again and took the chance to pop into the church with their coffees for a seat and a wee look around.
There was a special visitor too who was very popular with the younger visitors, Santa has swapped his sleigh for a VW microbus (as mentioned by Arlo Guthie in Alice's Restaurant)
I dread to think what the lawns will be like tomorrow, but it's been a great day. A busy day in the church too as the Malayalam (from Kerala, South India) congregation who use our building had their monthly service this morning too.
We had a lazy evening, watching the second episode of series 2 of  Capture, we're really enjoying it.
Thanks for dropping by, tomorrow is the first Sunday of Advent, 4 weeks tomorrow till the 25th! Aargh, such a lot to do - although I do have cake, puddings and a frozen turkey crown.
