Aiden and Rikki

Very close friends stopped by today on their way north to meet family members at the Vancouver BC airport. We hadn’t seen them since before covid. Aiden is 19 now. When I first met his family he was about a year old. His younger sister wasn’t born yet and his older sister was four. These three kids are like grandchildren to me. I love them all deeply as I do their parents as well. We have a long history and it was so good to see, talk to, and hug them during their visit today. My brother Steve came over and of course Shelly too. I met them through Steve and have him to thank for introducing us. By the way, Rikki is their mom. Doesn’t she look young!
