Sushi

We had a fantastic breakfast in the room at The Standard. There was a lovely big table in the room and so it was easy to eat and we didn’t have to worry about going down for breakfast. We stayed in the hotel as long as we could but, eventually, had to check-out - although not before trying the iconic red lift that is on the Euston Road front.

We spent a few hours at Coal Drops Yard wandering the shops and, eventually, having a spot go light lunch and a smoothie to repair a little of the damage done by over indulgence on cheese and wine last night.

We dropped out bags off at home, and I opened some very generous presents from people, before heading out for a Sticks'n'Sushi birthday meal. I was very much in two minds about going out again because PY had spent a lot of money on yesterday’s experience but we agreed it would be a lovely way to end the weekend and it was. As always the food is exquisite and there was a little cake with a candle it to properly celebrate my birthday.
