Archbishop’s Palace and River Medway

We walked into town so Susan could have her Covid booster then did a few errands, calling into post cards overseas and looking for photo frames and of course a coffee. I tried a scone and butter for purely scientific purposes you understand.

The scone and coffee had little impact on my glucose levels which was slightly surprising although we walked into town and walked back afterward.

Todays blip is of Maidstone’s oldest building, a place of rest for the Archbishops on their way too and from Canterbury. The Medway was high and chocolate brown from all yesterday’s rain.

The impact of lunch was also surprising; two slices of toast with grilled mackerel and the usual salady bits didn’t produce a large spike as every lunch has so far until today.

Then dinner, which has not produced a large spike at all so far did tonight. Roasted spuds, sweet potato, carrots, parsnips, onions, garlic and mushroom with curry paste and sprouts must be too carb intense.

I finished my blip calendar for 2023, took the car for a wash and a couple of other tasks this afternoon which Susan continued to work on the Christmas card. One more session she thinks.

Super short videos of Madison gurgling away this evening, with her eyes open.
