Dandelion Clouds

The forecast today was for dandelion clouds and may blossom showers helped along by a downland wind.

In fact I spent most of the day digging up dandelions. My mother has been carrying out a routine of regularly pollarding them, with the result that they had developed substantial underground structures that resisted my attempts at removal. One more day of weeding should see my tasks completed.
