Holidays!

Today is the start of Rory and I's first holiday abroad and it began with a tourist trip and a hotel stay in Edinburgh. We decided that although we were both born there, we should do something fun and touristy to start of our holiday and ended up spending the day wondering around the castle.

I can't describe how much I love Edinburgh, it's such a pretty city. The castle is gorgeous and the views you get are incredible! We spent so long wandering around all the different sections, including to the prisoner of war section (where Rory was pretending to be a prisoner). I loved learning all the little bits of information and it had been so long since I had last been!

We treated ourselves to Papa John's for dinner, seeing as we are on holiday and can be as greedy and as fat as we want. The pizzas are so good, I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

The hotel was gorgeous and not far away from the airport for us getting up at 3 o'clock to catch our flight. Drinks at the bar in the hotel were wonderful, it was so lovely just being able to relax with Rory and to be excited about leaving for our holiday!

Next stop, London and Paris!
