Highlights?

Well, met a friend for coffee this morning. She appreciated the bacon roll served up by the Cafe Wemyss. I appreciated (very much) the Danish pastry. 

Cafe Wemyss (where I was on Sunday as well) was our third choice of venue. The other two now close on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 

The weather was also a highlight. More "proper" November weather - cold and sunny. 

A Sainsbury's Local provided another highlight. I went in to buy milk and a sandwich and saw a solitary pastel de nata sitting in the bakery section with "buy me" written all over it. I obliged. 

They do good jelly jam doughnuts too.
