Poppies

There's a garden down the road that has lots of these gorgeous poppies. I love it when they bloom. Took this quick pic through the fence today on my walk.
Planted some veggies today. Some people say it's a good time to plant now, others say to wait until the long May weekend. I'm hedging my bets and planting some now and will plant the rest in a couple of weeks. Last year I planted everything on May 18 and we had a good crop.
