Pick me!

Early blip today because we're heading over to Vancouver Island. Some of my former students have invited me for dinner, and I can't wait! I'm so excited to see them because it's been quite awhile. So this dandelion I spotted on my walk reminded me of those keen students who wave their hands in the air every time you ask a question - "Pick me, pick me! I know the answer!" Maybe because I was thinking about teaching and learning and students....and what a wonderful profession teaching is and how fantastic it is to have students who love to learn and who have taught me so much as well.
