Allotment collage

Spent the morning along at our Saughton Allotment - dug up the last bed of potatoes (top-right), before the frost locks them in for the winter. Indeed, the whole pond area (bottom-left) was frozen solid when I arrived!

I also had quite a large amount of general-cuttings to process - so, got the brazier going (top-left), which made quick work of disposing of everything ... kept me warm, into the bargain ;-)

But, despite today's cold, the recent spell of relatively mild weather has actually  led to one of our roses (bottom-right) still being in flower - and tomorrow is actually December!?!
