Leader Water

A long circular walk in the morning beside the Leader Water. It’s a sunny day and there are many wonderful views along the way.

In the afternoon we head across to St Abbs where the Prescottin have rented a holiday house. On the way, we stop at a truly bizarre off-license in Duns called Forte’s that has an idiosyncratic way of organising its wines.

We still get to St Abbs too early, so we grab some food in Coldingham at the New Inn. Just enough to keep us going, because tonight it’s a DIY pizza party.

The usual suspects rock up. Stuart and Mandy arrived last and draw the short straw off bunk beds. It’s another joyful evening of friends and chatter.
