Lots of Birds and a Boat

There seemed to be more than the usual number of cormorants and shags on the Sandy Crag this morning.
Geordie, Amber and I walked the coastal path to St Monans and back this morning, but we won’t be doing it again for a while. It was just puddles and mud. Very slippy and tricky to walk on, and not at all enjoyable.
It rained all the way there and back, but not too heavy. We met not another soul.
Home again to dry off, a treat for the dogs and a hot cuppa for me.
Jim and Margaret arrived to pick up Amber not long after we got back. They had spent the night at Balbirnie House Hotel with friends. Cream tea, a tasting menu for dinner, a night in the Bridal Suite (unexpectedly) and a good breakfast. It sounded lovely.
