Christmas is so exciting!

B and I attended a most entertaining talk at our local library this morning. The speaker (Liz) was a volunteer from Blickling Hall and took on the persona (and accent) of a Norfolk scullery maid in the 1930s. Liz really brought to life the character as well as being very informative. We really enjoyed it.
This afternoon M and I put up the Christmas tree which is always a mammoth task. Ziggy was very helpful and investigated all the baubles, tinsel and lights and found the whole experience very exciting. It seemed very odd putting up the tree with a football World Cup on the TV.
