Blip reject: yellow tape.

This is the closest I will get to crime scene photography.
I seriously considered being a crime scene photographer
but I lack the equipment and training. Sigh.

Around 9:30 p.m. last night, Kyle and I returned from the car wash and hung around outside for a few minutes. As we were outside, a white car went speeding by (I mean, really speeding). A couple moments later, we saw a cop car at the end of the street, thinking it busted the speeder. A few moments later, more police cars arrived, causing us to think perhaps it was a DUI. However, when CSI showed up, we knew something happened.

We walked over and found out that a teenager had been shot and killed on the sidewalk at the end of the street. The driver of the white car had just happened to see the incident and called the cops in. What timing! We had been outside at the time of the incidence but a silencer must have been used since we didn't hear anything. It's kind of sad, though, since it is common for this kind of thing to happen in Kyle's neighborhood. Knife fights, gunshots, houses blowing up... (Yes, this happened last week.)

The tape was still up this morning so I wandered over for a blip.
