Toppings bookshop in St Andrews has recently expanded and it’s just an amazing shop where you can find a soft sofa to sit on and choose as many books as you like to browse through. Coffee is always offered to browsers.

I came upon gran reading a couple of lovely Christmas stories to her grandson who was just loving every word. I asked gran if she would show the cover of the book …. many blippers out there might remember the Alfie stories by Shirley Hughes.
