We're in love with Rome....

After a relatively uneventful budget flight, we arrived and found our way to our delightfully odd hotel (Rammstein playing in the foyer, glitterball in the bathroom, and super-friendly staff).Then it was a case of a stroll around the Vatican and Piazza san Pietro where the iPhone came in handy in the shade of this obelisk in the centre of the piazza. After that, a pizza and some vino while sitting outside, watching the world go by.

I could get used to this!
